Diane was born June 5th 1952 . Raised in a small town in MA, called Attleboro.
She has 2 kids Billy 37 and Erin 30.
She has 2 grandsons Nick 16, Shawn 14
She has a pug named Max 10.
Diane has not yet started her treatments but will be starting them soon.
Diane was diagnosed with brain cancer on April 15th 2010. She went into the hospital thinking she had a stroke in March but the doctors said later it was a seizure and that she had a tumor in her brain that needed to be removed. Removing the first tumor led them to find another one they couldn't remove. The goal is to make the tumor dormant so she can live a long happy, healthy life and not become another statistic. Other than having this disease, she is as healthy as an ox her doctor said. She has even quit smoking.
This fund raiser is to help raise money for Diane to get to her daily appointments. She will be getting her treatments from Lakeland Regional Hospital in Lakeland Florida.
Diane's loving husband had to leave his job in order to stay home and help Diane so there is a shortage of income to their household in order to get them to and from the hospital on a daily basis. The majority of the money generated by our fundraising will be used to help them pay for gas to get Diane to and from her appointments with any extra going towards any possible medical bills that insurance decides not to cover in the future.
