Happy New Year!
This blog page has been sadly neglected for quite awhile. I have been very busy getting everything running and then I was so successful in my online stores that the blog page was the last thing on my mind to update.
I know one of the problems with this page occurred when my webhost ISP decided to close its doors and not tell me so for the longest time the graphics on my page were all messed up. I am not sure if they still are or not but I do know that this page needs a major overhaul.
I have so many ventures going that it is amazing how far I have come since I opened my doors in October of 2008. You can find me extremely active on Facebook and Etsy.

You can also find me on ArtFire and Bonanza as "desertdiamond"
I am in the process of working on publishing my first crochet book so that is also very exciting! The book will be unveiled on Facebook. I will try to unveil it here but I think I want to move my blog posts to my new website:
http://www.desertdiamondcrochet.yolasite.com
I own the domain name www.desertdiamondcrochet.com that I hope to one day transfer over to yola however with my old ISP having gone belly up, trying to figure out the registrar for the domain name to get it moved is proving quite challenging for me.
2010/2011 proved to be a very challenging year for me. I work full time on top of running Desert Diamond Crochet LLC. In November 2010, I relocated from Virginia to Hawaii for what was supposed to be a 5 year contract. Upon arriving in Hawaii after relocating at my own expense, it was discovered that there was only 5 months left of this contract. I was very unhappy to say the least. In March 2011, I accepted a job in Colorado Springs so again relocating at my own expense I am now settled and ready to take Desert Diamond Crochet LLC to the next level in 2012!
I am so excited and I hope I still have followers out here even though my blog page needs some work to fix everything that got broke from the ISP going under!
